Essential Eight Assessment Course
The Australian Signals Directorate, through the Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC), is committed to providing guidance and support to industry and government to strengthen their cyber security posture.
The Essential Eight Assessment Course has been designed by the Australian Signals Directorate’s Australian Cyber Security Centre (ACSC) and is delivered in partnership by TAFEcyber.
The Essential Eight Assessment Course uses a blend of specialist knowledge, experience and hands-on technical training to enable cyber security and ICT professionals to understand the ACSC’s Essential Eight Assessment Guidance Package and the Essential Eight Maturity Model. These skills and knowledge will enable participants to effectively assess and improve their organisation’s cyber security posture.
TAFEcyber is a consortium of TAFE Colleges across Australia, providing students with the essential knowledge and technical skills to gain a sustainable and thriving career in Cyber Security.

The First National TAFE vs TAFE Cyber Challenge
A national student event, using the skills needed for industry in a simulated environment. This event is hosted by our TAFE members to ensure our students can compete on a national scale and to industry expectations.
