TAFEcyber has partnered with Credly, a digital credentialing platform that helps learning and training providers issue, manage, and market verified digital badges to recognise achievements and skills.
Digital Badges
Digital badges are visual tokens and an online record of the learner's achievements. A badge provides details on how it was achieved and can be linked to evidence such as portfolios or work samples.
Digital badges provide the opportunity for individuals to tell and share verifiable stories about their accomplishments as part of their learning journey.
TAFEcyber Digital Badges – Coming Soon
TAFEcyber will offer a range of digital badges to recognise learning and experiences.
Some badges will also “stack” together towards other credentials, or link to pathways for education, employment, or career progression.
TAFEcyber is continuing to develop new courses and experiences and digital badges will be awarded upon successful completion or attendance (conditions apply). Examples below:
Earn
To earn a digital badge the earner will need to complete a course, an activity, or attend a professional development session. This is known as earning criteria.
Earners will be advised of their achievement and digital badge via an email from Credly.
Earners can share their badges with their employers, colleagues and networks on social media.
Claim
Once earned, digital badges are claimed from Credly’s Acclaim platform. Instructions on how to set up your account and claim and share your badge are sent to each recipient.
For earners who like to have printed copies of their achievements, a printable certificate version will be available to download (for some badges).
